AI assistant for a beauty salon

It answers on services, prices and durations, books the specialist the client actually goes to, and reminds them the day before. Free time comes from the salon’s own schedule.

Who this suits: Salons where booking happens in direct messages, an administrator replies between clients, and every missed «is my specialist in on Saturday?» is an empty chair.

What is in the first version

  • prices and durations
  • booking by specialist
  • reminders and rescheduling
  • a waiting list

The figures above are the package this sits on: AI agent or process automation. Anything past its edges the calculator adds before the work starts, not after.

How the path goes

  1. 01

First the service, then the slot

The assistant answers from your price list with the duration, and where the price says «from», it says exactly that.

  2. 02

The specialist first, the time second

Availability is computed for that person: their hours, their services, their timings and the cleanup between clients.

  3. 03

    A reminder the day before

The reminder carries a one-tap reschedule, because most no-shows are people who cannot say they are not coming.

What decides whether this works or annoys people

  • The client’s hair decides the price

Where the price list holds a range, the assistant gives the range and what moves it, and the specialist names the sum.

  • A specialist is not interchangeable

A booking names a person by default, and if a specialist falls ill the assistant offers to move rather than quietly substituting.

  • A gap costs money

Rules for moving and for deposits go in before launch, and a freed slot is offered automatically while somebody still wants it.

What to measure once it is live

  • bookings without an administrator
  • bookings made after closing
  • no-show and late cancellation rate
  • slots filled from the waiting list

Why this comes out faster

The shape of this one is known: the states, the edge cases and the things that usually go wrong have been decided before. Nothing here is a template, and the saving is not in your half of the work. It goes into your process, your content and the systems this has to talk to, which is the part nobody can have solved in advance.

A likely stack for this

Picked against the task when we scope it, not decided in advance. This is the shelf it usually comes off.

Price it yourself, right here

Five steps, and you can see the number without leaving a contact. The estimate accounts for the kind of work, what you already have and what it will need inside.

What needs building?

These bills do not come from us

  • AI model calls
  • the booking system subscription and its API
  • SMS reminders
  • payment fees on deposits

Asked before the first call

Will it give an exact price for colouring?
Only where the price list holds an exact price. Where it says «from», that is what it answers, and we do not ship a version that names a number your price list does not hold.
Our bookings live in an industry booking system, will it connect?
If the system has an API, the schedule is read from it and the appointment created there, so the salon keeps one book. If not, we say so before the estimate.
What if a client is unhappy with the result?
That message goes to a person immediately, with no attempt at an answer. The assistant never discusses the quality of a specialist’s work and never promises a refund or a free correction.
